★ FOSA
board comments about Hultsman report:
* "In the reading and reviewing this report the reader needs
to read the complete document and not focus in on one line
that might fit their position to oppose a given activity,
read the whole document and keep information in context. -Gerald T. Favero, President, FOSA
* "I believe we are moving in the right direction
for the future by merging FOSHA and FOSCA." Linda Fischer, Secretary, FOSA
* "From my perspective as the FOSA Treasurer the survey tells me that
Fountain of the Sun members do not want to be a "resort" but rather
one community with affordable/reasonable annual fees. And that will
become the challenge for me in the coming months:
define affordable/reasonable based on the amenities we have,
such as a gated community with 24/7 professional guard service
and the amenities we want, including the development of the maxi
parks with more pickle ball and bocce ball." -John Focht, Treasurer, FOSA
* "Dr. Hultsman’s 2019 Report will be the cornerstone of resource
documents available to guide the development of a prioritized action
plan toward managing the future of Fountain of the Sun." -Keith Hilgendorf, Vice President, FOSA
* "The future of a vibrant community will be our ability to attract
homeowners from younger generations. It is imperative that planning
efforts address equally the needs and interests of both current and
future residents." -Bob Talley, Director, FOSA
* "Now that we have received the Hultsman Study, we should update
the Master Plan to reflect the new information we have received and
make sure our FOS Website reflects the changes." -Francine Miller, Director, FOSA
* "The Long Range Planning Committee plans to use this Study
as a guidance and reference tool as the committee works to help
with other committees input a 5 year community plan." -Calvin Stone, Director, FOSA
