Don Blume invites you to join Our Fountain Forum Google Group I host an email Google group called "OurFountainForum" or "OurFF" that has about 100 members. It is similar to an email group in Leisure World that has 2,700 resident members which includes almost every one who lives there. It started in 1998. That Leisure World group is censored by their HOA so that nothing seen as negative discussion about is allowed to be discussed. To join the OurFF group, one must register with their name, phone number, and email address. After that, everyone in the group can send an email that is delivered to everyone in the group. With enough numbers we can elect board members with conservative thinking. I think that legal action will not be effective but very expensive and time consuming. I would donate generously if I felt it would work. When a candidate was unjustly rejected by the FOS HOA board as a candidate, I suggested legal action to which I offered to contribute, but that was rebuffed and nothing else happened. Legal action could take years and thousands of dollars. I do not think contributions would suffice. Meanwhile the board could make many increases in assessments to build up their cash to do much of their wish list. Once started it will be difficult to stop. Spending limits requiring HOA vote approval have been changed without a vote of HOA home owners. We need "OurFountainForum" to grow to nearly all of the 2400+ FOS owner/residents. If we grow enough, I am confident that the majority will not favor the massive spending as now proposed, and we can again have a moderate HOA board again.
