After the absolutely insane Town Hall meeting on January 26, we were
invited to send an email to the FOSA board. So I sent the message below,
and I am waiting for an answer. This FOSA board president needs to go,
along with a few others.
The FOSA board president told us that some may not be able to afford the
assessments (which they are planning), but (she said) sometimes you just
have to do what you have to do. She said doing nothing is not an option.
My wife and I moved here thinking this was a wonderful community for our
retirement years. Boy were we fooled. Since moving here five years ago,
our HOA dues have almost doubled, and now they are threatening to put us
all into debt for millions.
We saw architect Dan Christensen's report before the FOSA board suddenly removed it from the community website.

I asked why it was removed and I was told that they could not just post anyone's opinion. Dan Christensen was on the Activity Center Task Force and the IMPOC committee, and he is an Arizona Licensed Architect. His report is valuable and should not have been arbitrarily removed by the FOSA board.
We are now given only three options. That lacks transparency and
prevents us all from being able to make an informed decision.
My parents taught me to not spend money that you don't have, but to
save for it.
We need to know what the true majority of FOS homeowners want. There are
more than three options. For the FOSA board to try to make us think that
something has to be done due to codes is dishonest. The honesty of this
board now seems in doubt. Greg and Bonnie Williams.
